CREED, Center for Research in Experimental Economics and political Decision making

The Center for Research in Experimental Economics and Political Decision making is a research institute at the Faculty of Economics and Econometrics, University of Amsterdam.

Its research program consists of three main projects:

Economics of Political Decision Making. The project focuses on the analysis of the behavior of political decision makers, its consequences for government policies, and the impact on the economy.
Bounded Rationality and Institutions. In this project fundamental aspects of individual decision making are investigated.
Experimental Economics.Here the method of laboratory experimentation is used to study economic problems. Research in this project is particularly stimulated by, and provides feedback for, the two projects mentioned above.

CREED is located in building E2 (Faculty of Economics and Econometrics), 6th floor at Roetersstraat 11, Amsterdam. The secretary office is at 6.28.

From outside Amsterdam: by TRAIN:

station "Amsterdam-Amstel" (from direction Utrecht): metro/sneltram 51, direction Central Station to Weesperplein, exit at Sarphatistraat-Roetersstraat.
station "Amsterdam-Muiderpoort" (from direction Hilversum/Amersfoort): tram 6 or 10 to Weesperplein.
Amsterdam Central Station (all other directions): metro direction Gein or Gaasperplas, sneltram 51 direction Amstelveen or Middenhoven, to Weesperplein, exit at Sarphatistraat-Roetersstraat.
From the airport SCHIPHOL take a train in the direction of Amsterdam Central Station, exit at Central Station, see above for details.

From within the city:

By METRO: all lines, "Weesperplein" station, exit "Sarphatistraat-Roetersstraat".
By SNELTRAM: line 51, "Weesperplein" station, exit "Sarphatistraat-Roetersstraat".
By TRAM:
- line 6 & 20: stop in "Roetersstraat";
- lines 7 & 10: stop at "Weesperplein";
- lines 9 & 14: stop at "Plantage Middenlaan"
